Lenovo Legion Tab gets an unexpected price hike two months after launch

Lenovo’s small Android tablet, the Legion Tab, has seen its price go up since its announcement and launch, with the price now landing at $549.99 for US buyers.

The Lenovo Legion Tab is a welcome addition to the market, offering a small 8.8-inch display but plenty of power under the hood with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB of RAM. It’s a rare combination of specs, and at $499, it matched the price of the iPad Mini as well.

However, that price has now gone up.

Over the past few days, the Lenovo Legion Tab has unexpectedly seen a price hike from $499.99 up to $549.99. The new price took effect on Lenovo’s online store within the past 3 days, 9to5Google can confirm. Lenovo has not posted any reason for the change in price, and there’s no alternative way to buy the tablet at its previously-announced price. We’ll speculate that this could be due to tariffs, but there’s no official word on that. This hike also hasn’t affected the Yoga Tab Plus, also announced at CES 2025 in January, which is actually available for over $150 off on Lenovo’s site right now.

This comes right as the Legion Tab’s availability in the US has finally stabilized. The tablet has been out of stock for most of the past two months since its launch but was re-stocked in late February and has been available for order ever since. As of today, deliveries are effectively immediate, with shipping times as short as 2-3 days.

We’ve reached out to Lenovo for comment regarding the price change and will update this article when we hear back.
