According to new release notes, Google is rolling out the first 2025 software update for the Nest Wifi and Nest Wifi Pro. It’s not yet widely available.
Update: Google has removed the Nest Wifi Pro 3.75.x update from the changelog. Meanwhile, the Nest Wifi point update date was advanced to May 5.
Yesterday, Google updated the “Wifi software versions and release notes” page. There’s a new update (version 3.75.467368) for the Nest Wifi Pro that started rolling out on April 21, 2025:
- Improved and more reliable whole-home coverage with Thread support
- Stability and security vulnerability fixes
However, it’s not yet appearing on routers we checked. As a reminder, updates happen automatically in the background. A restart from the Google Home app did not trigger a refresh. The Nest Wifi Pro remains on 3.74.447573 from December that:
- Improved Wi-Fi mesh connection stability and roaming experience
- Improved the switching speed when roaming between Mesh AP and points
The other major update (3.73.424613) was in August:
- Fix for incorrect WAN connection LED status
- Fix for connection issues on certain streaming and productivity devices
- Security and stability improvements
At the same time, Google last month updated (version 1.56.463275) the Nest Wifi point with “Stability and security vulnerability fixes.” The last update before that was in October of 2024.
